RFID Coded Non Contact Safety Switches
IDEM's extensive range of RFID Coded Non Contact Switches have been developed to provide and maintain a high level of functional safety whilst providing a very high anti-tamper coded activation.Coding is achieved by using magnetic and radio frequency techniques, both principles need to be satisfied for the switch to operate safely.They will connect to most popular standard Safety Relays to achieve up to PLe/Category 4 to ISO 13849-1.They are offered in mirror polished Stainless Steel 316 or high specification polyester housings and can be used in almost any environments including high pressure cleaning following contamination from foreign particles.All the range has IP69K ingress protection and are suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning processes.The typical sensing distance "on" is 14mm with wide tolerance to guard misalignment after setting.The RFID sensing provides a tamper resistant operation when the actuator is in the sensing range of the switch.IDEM's RFID Coded Non Contact Switches are available in two types either Master Coded or Unique Coded.
KPF RFID Coded Non Contact Safety Interlock Switch
The KPF has RFID CODED Actuation with a wide SWITCHING TOLERANCE of up to 14mm.
The durable polyester housing offers Front and End Actuation.
THE KPF will operate with most Safety Relays and can therefore achieve up to PLe/Cat4 ISO13849-1.
KPF RFID Coded Non Contact Safety Switches are designed to fit to hinged, sliding or removable guard doors.
Designed with an industry standard fixing they are especially advantageous when:
(a) Severe guard alignment exists using traditional tongue type versions.
(b) Long mechanical life is required (no moving or touching parts).
When used in combination with dual channel safety relays they can be used to provide up to PLe/Cat4 ISO13849-1.
Industry housing shape: 52mm wide, 98mm long and 40mm fixing. Fully encapsulated sealing and pre-wired 5m or 10m cable.

LMF RFID Coded Non Contact Stainless Steel 316 Switch
The Stainless Steel 316 Mirror Polished finish LMF RFID safety switch has been developed to maintain a high level of functional safety whilst providing a very high anti-tamper coded activation for non-contact guard door interlocking applications in the Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, Beverage and Petro-Chemical Industries.
Coding is achieved by using magnetic and radio frequency techniques, both principles need to be satisfied for the switch to operate safely. They will connect to most popular standard Safety Relays to achieve up to PLe/Category 4 to ISO 13849-1.
Manufactured from Stainless Steel 316 they are suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning and can be high pressure hosed at high temperature (rated IP69K), they have a wide 12mm sensing with high tolerance to misalignment and have been designed in accordance with EHEDG guidelines for hygienic design.
The housing design, surface finish and styling means they can be used in almost any environment subject to high levels of cleaning following contamination from foreign particles.
Direct Contact Zone - The switch mounting is designed to EHEDG hygienic guidelines and also fulfils the requirements of the splash zone.
Splash Zone - The switch must be easy to clean and withstand CIP and SIP cleaning processes found in the food industry (tested IP69K).

The WPF has RFID CODED Actuation.
Designed with a wide SWITCHING TOLERANCE of up to 14mm.
The WPF is specified to 80C.
