Aldi Ireland as agreed a new 15-year lease to move its 120-strong Buying and Marketing teams to corporate offices at Birch House, Millennium Park, Naas, Co. Kildare.
The 41,000ft office space has been refitted and will be ready to occupy from early 2021 by Aldi's Irish National Buying and Marketing teams, the discounter said.
The new facility will feature Aldi's 'Taste Kitchen' where Aldi's Buying team will be able to create and test new Irish products, it added.
Birch House is ideally located within this established business park and benefits from floor plates of 13,723sqft with a full height atrium, overlooking a water feature and large landscaped areas. The campus is only 15 minutes from the M50 motorway which offers ease of access to the north and south Dublin suburbs and Dublin International airport. There is also a bus service to Dublin City Centre every 15 minutes and being just a stones-throw away from the Sallins & Naas Train Station. The Millennium Park campus is well located just a 15-minute drive from the M50 motorway, providing ease of access to both the north and south Dublin suburbs and Dublin airport. The new M7/N7 interchange 9A offers direct motorway access from the park to Galway, Cork, Limerick and Belfast.

The Specific Solution
The client needed critical equipment protected by a UPS system in the event of a power outage. To protect this Ashdale Engineering Ltd opted for the 40 kVA Sentryum UPS from Riello
Having installed and commissioned Sentryrum in several other key sites including hospitals, data centres, and broadcasting facilities, Ashdale were very assured of the product’s reliability and suitability for this particular application.
The UPS was fitted with a Riello matching battery box, a NetMan 204 communications card to aid with monitoring and management, while the installation also incorporated wall-mounted four-pole wraparound bypass
As well as carrying out the battery installation and system commissioning, Ashdale Engineering Ltd will also provide ongoing UPS maintenance and support for the UPS .
